Hotel looks great, is in a fabulous position. Just of the moors but only 15 mins to Middlesbrough and Stockton. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and we equipped.

The mix of the old house and the new was very well done. The history of the house and the old portraits was very interesting. The food was nice although expensive. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms very comfortable and well kept. We liked the way the old rooms had kept their names and were shown on the old bell board.

The hotel was perfect - I stay nearby often and have tried 4 other hotels and I no longer need to look, the Hall Hotel is amazing. Breakfast was very tasty and freshly cooked to my requirements. Can't fault it at all.

Excellent breakfast, good quality evening meals, very relaxing lounges, pleasant and helpful staff.
A porter to take bagge to rooms would be helpful. It can be a rather long way to the Woodlands suite.
